2022 Smoke Alarm Laws
From January 1st 2022, new smoke alarm laws come into effect for all rental properties in Queensland.
If your property is not compliant to the 2022 Smoke Alarm legislation, and the tenancy or lease expires after 1st January 2022, you will not be permitted to place new tenants or renew the lease.
